Technology Tools and Learning: Padlet
Technological
devices are becoming the first and final things we engage with on a daily
basis. The environment of teaching and learning, including but not limited to
technology-supported learning, resulting in the expanding availability of
technological devices or portable digital assistants. Technology is used to
make learning enjoyable and engaging across many academic fields, including
nursing education.
Given
the present coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and related social
distancing procedures, technology use in teaching and learning has reached a
high recently. In order to continue teaching and learning in the middle of the
COVID-19 epidemic, higher education institutions throughout the world,
including nursing education institutes, have turned to online learning [3].
Nursing
educators have increasingly embraced instructional applications of technology
to enhance the learning experience for their students. It's important to note
that while technology offers numerous benefits, nursing educators must ensure
that its integration aligns with the learning objectives and needs of the
students. Additionally, they should provide adequate training and support to
both faculty and students to effectively utilize these instructional
applications of technology.
